The Domaine du HIRTZ is an accommodation area with a restaurant. But it is also a place available for rent for all types of events. How have you been organizing your structure since the arrival of Covid? How is it going right now?

Yes, we normally organize a lot of events at the Domaine du HIRTZ: seminars, weddings, receptions... We also have a Wellness Institute, the Nordic SPA next to our accommodation and catering area. Currently, at the SPA level, we continue to offer massages and treatments, obviously respecting the health regulations in force. Customers can also take advantage of the flotation bed, where they can rest alone or in pairs. In terms of accommodation, customers can always book accommodation but the catering part must be done directly in the rooms with a take-away system.

How is Skello helping you during this critical time?

Although our activities do not represent a lot of turnover, we need to plan working hours with new constraints. In fact, we continue to ask about fifteen people. We have one or two cooks for the catering part and one or two waiters who also work. We adapt the schedules according to the number of visitors and Skello helps us to do this in a flexible way. We anticipate better thanks to the tool but we are also better able to deal with daily unforeseen events. Our apprentices also continue to come to work because for their diploma they must be present at the workplace.

How many employees do you manage at Domaine du Hirtz? From how many employees did you request to use Skello?

I have been a Human Resources Assistant at the Domaine for two years and this coincides with our acquisition of Skello. Before, they used another software but the use was not easy: the settings to adapt the management of schedules to our operation were complicated. So they were looking for a simpler and more powerful solution and they met Skello at a trade show! Today, there are 2 of us working in the human resources department, I am specifically in charge of time management and therefore the realization of schedules with Skello.

What is Skello's big plus? What parts of the HR profession have become simpler?

The big plus is the fact that you can communicate the schedule directly by SMS and email to employees. It's super practical because changes happen every day: you click on two buttons, and that's good! No need to call the person.

What is also good about us is that the employees have really joined Skello: they know that when they receive the schedule, the latest one will be valid. It saves us time on a daily basis on schedules and human resources!

There are also plenty of positive points in terms of schedules: the fact that you can create schedule templates and duplicate them from one week to the next is really easier.

Would you recommend Skello to other professionals?

Yes! What we really appreciated this year was your ability to adapt to the Covid context. You immediately developed Skello in relation to the hours of technical unemployment. This is a feature that we use every month now, as we use Skello to do the payroll preparation report. This management of short-time working hours really helped us. If we had not had that, it would have been complicated to take employees on a case-by-case basis and to monitor the hours worked or not worked. My colleague and I were happy that you reacted so well.

What do you think of Skello support and customer service?

As soon as we have a question, we don't have to pick up the phone. It's well done and effective! Generally, we get a quick response via the online chat. You are responsive.
