Christophe: My name is Christophe Hureaux, I am a French entrepreneur and I manage the Wittamer house in Brussels, an emblematic pastry shop in Belgium. Created in 1910 by Henri Wittamer in the historic heart of the city, on the Place du Sablon, where we are today.

Christophe: The Wittamer family gave us the keys to the house at the beginning of this year, to both preserve its values and at the same time, develop the brand in Belgium and abroad.
Wittamer is at the same time an artisanal pastry shop, a chocolate factory, a sweet and savory cookie factory, an ice cream maker and also a caterer. Today, Wittamer has around 50 people who are divided between the production laboratories. And for now, two stores. We have also been present in Japan for over thirty years, with 24 stores.
Christophe: When I took over the house in March, I quickly realized that managing team schedules both in production and in sales in a house that is also open from Monday to Sunday non-stop, was frankly not easy. Wittamer clearly did not have the right tools in this area. So I looked for a solution that was both easy to use for everyone, quickly deployable and able to adapt to our particular universe: pastry. I also wanted the tool to be able to support us, because we are going to open other stores very soon.
Skello met my needs. It is a simple application to set up, with an effective and above all important training support for me, available, usable on any medium: telephone, tablet, PC of course and above all, which will follow us in the upcoming opening of our new points of sale, especially on the Grand Place in a few weeks.
In short, everyone here adopted Skello in a few days and I must admit that I love the possibility of notifying birthdays on the schedules. For workstations, you can also choose different colors: employees like this fun side! You can change from red, to green, to blue... The closures are in red, the openings in green. It's beautiful! Skello is a nice product.
Annick: My name is Annick Meeuws, I have been with Wittamer for over 30 years and I am responsible for the group's human resources.
Annick: This has considerably improved communication with all employees. To explain a little bit, before the staff had to go to the offices to consult all the weekly schedules. With Skello, employees receive their schedule directly by SMS or email. They can also consult it on their phone at any time! And for store managers, the tool is very easy to use for drawing up schedules, with the possibility of memorizing typical weeks. Finally, for me, administrative management is much simpler.
Annick: I can put into the application all the social documents relating to each worker, such as CVs, employment contracts, sick leave, etc.
I have now got into the habit of consulting Skello every day to see the schedules that are made by the managers. And I've also gotten into the habit of using Skello's hour counters and internal messaging to send information to specific people or all of the staff.
Annick: A very good score for Skello 😊
