I am the manager of the store, which is one of the two stores run by Thierry Royer. So by extension, I am the Skello referent for the team. In other words, if there is a problem in HR management or in team schedules, I am the one who takes care of it. So I take care of both the organization of the store, as well as the HR part and the recruitment.
At the store in Saint-Alban, there are 7 of us. There is also the management who is part of the organization but they do not take care of what is operational and therefore does not appear on our schedules.
Thierry wanted to subscribe to a planning and HR management solution in a logic of streamlining processes. Before, we used Excel in our two stores, it was very dangerous! You didn't see the total hours of actual work at all, it was a bit like the Stone Age. So we were looking for a simple planning tool: at Biocoop, two tools were offered to us but they did not correspond to us. We then discovered Skello and the fact that you were already referenced by other Biocoops prompted us to contact you.
The software offered by Biocoop was very complicated, not at all ergonomic and understanding was not easy. The other tool on the market was Snapshift, but we found Skello to be more intuitive. Alexis, who was very pleasant and who introduced him to us very well.
It's not just schedules. We also use the employee area a lot, where we can follow all the management of employee files, but also the hour counter and the management of paid leave. In business, you have to be quite flexible in your planning, especially since the outbreak of Covid-19. We must constantly adapt to new requests, irregular absences, and in this sense the timer is very useful to us.
With Skello, I especially gain in fluidity! When building schedules, if I don't have anything new that comes into account for the following week, I save a lot of time because I can duplicate weeks or use schedule templates.
The creation of shifts! We copy, we paste... Accounting work is also much simpler. I no longer need to be in contact with my accountant to track paid leave, for example. If an employee has 40 days of paid leave taken, I will have direct visibility on it and go see him to discuss it. Before, I did not have access to all this information!
