The Sophie Lebreuilly bakery group is the story of a northern couple who wanted to share their taste for gourmet, simple and generous cuisine. Today, there are already 13 points of sale and 6 franchises in France. Can you tell us a bit more about the history of the group and its ambitions?

In fact, the network now has 20 stores, both owned and franchised. The concept is divided into 4 worlds: bakery/pastry/catering and the tea room area with an on-site or take-away offer. It wants to be a real place to live that meets every need of the day, from breakfast to lunch break to baguette or pizza in the evening.

What is your role within the Sophie Lebreuilly group? What are the main difficulties in your daily work?

My name is Hélène Gosselin and I am the Group's HR manager. The main daily difficulty is having to have long and continuous opening hours (from 6:30am to 8 pm) in order to be able to meet our sales promise. We have 200 employees in total, spread over various trades. We use permanent contracts, fixed-term contracts, apprentices... so many variables to integrate, especially when you know that some shops have more busy periods depending on the season.

Why did you ask Skello to be able to manage and automate your schedules and personnel management? When does this need for support start to occur?

What was important for us was above all to keep human beings and well-being at work in mind. In our opinion, this depends in part on the serene management of schedules. We needed a reliable management tool, and that's how we adopted Skello in 2017, which allows us to offer visibility of at least 3 weeks to each employee in the company.

What is the situation now? What are the advantages of Skello for you as an HR manager?

In terms of pure management, Skello allows us to facilitate payroll management and to meet the legal framework imposed by working time legislation. Thanks to the analysis of our productivity, we anticipate our recruitment needs.

Did it also make the work of your employees easier? If yes, how in practice?

Employees receive their schedule on mobile, they have it at all times, it's easy, accessible, and serene. The tool is facilitative in every way and very intuitive to use.
